Billing, your plan and add-ons
How billing works on the 1st, where to see invoices, update your card, change your plan and add or remove plugins.
Updated
Your monthly plan and any plugins bill together on the 1st of each month. The Billing page, pinned at the bottom of your sidebar, shows your plan, your add-ons, every invoice and your signed agreement. Card changes and receipts open on your own secure Stripe billing page.
See what you pay
- Open Billing. Your plan shows the plan, the monthly price and the date and amount of your next bill.
- Add-ons lists your plugins and what each one costs.
- Invoices and payments lists every bill with its date, what it was for, the amount and Paid or Due.
- Your agreement has your signed client agreement. Tap View PDF to open it.
Update your card or get receipts
- Under Card and receipts, tap Open billing.
- Your Stripe billing page opens. Update your card, download receipts or cancel there.
Change your plan
- Under Your plan, tap Change plan.
- Tap Move up or Move down on the plan you want. The panel tells you what it costs today.
- Tap Switch plan to confirm, or Keep my plan to back out.
Add or remove a plugin
- Under Add-ons, tap Manage or Add one. It opens Plugins and Services.
- Start a free 7-day trial, add a plugin, or remove one from its page.
Questions
When do I get charged?
On the 1st of every month, for your plan plus any plugins. The Next bill line on Your plan shows the date and the total.
What do the plans cost?
Starter is $89 a month, Growth $149 and Pro $299. Pay a year upfront and get 2 months free: $890, $1,490 or $2,990 a year.
If I move up in the middle of the month, what happens?
You pay the difference for the rest of the month today, and the new plan's tools turn on right away. If the card is declined, nothing changes and nothing unlocks.
If I move down, when does it start?
On the 1st. You keep everything on your current plan through the end of the month you paid for, and there's no credit for the days left. On a yearly plan, the move happens at renewal.
How do plugin trials work?
Software plugins like the Social calendar or Email campaigns have a free 7-day trial with no card. Add one and it's prorated for the rest of the month. Remove it anytime. It stays on through the end of the month and comes off on the 1st, with no credit.
Where do I get receipts for my accountant?
Tap Open billing under Card and receipts and download them from your Stripe billing page.
What if my card gets declined?
The bill shows as Due and a Balance due line appears on Your plan. Tap Open billing to update your card, and Scott follows up if it doesn't go through.
Is there a contract, and how do I cancel?
No long-term contract. Cancel from Open billing, and it takes effect at the end of your billing month. Your site stays up for up to 30 days, and you get all of your site information within 72 hours.
What do changes to my site cost?
On Starter, edits are $100 an hour. Growth includes up to 1 hour of edits a month and Pro up to 2 hours with priority. Time past that is $100 an hour, only when you ask. Unused time doesn't roll over.
Is Google Business Profile setup part of my plan?
No. It's a one-time $250 on any plan, from Plugins and Services. It's never part of a monthly plan.
