What the SEO check-ins page shows, where the numbers come from, and what you can do to move up on Google.
Updated
Every plan comes with a monthly SEO note from Scott: how you showed up on Google, in plain English, and what to fix next. The SEO check-ins page keeps every one of them, along with the numbers Google reports about your site.

- Where you stand on Google sums up the latest check-in and when the next one is due.

Questions
Is this on my plan?
Yes. The monthly SEO note is on every plan. Pro adds a 15-minute SEO strategy call every quarter and a new town or service page every quarter.
Where do the numbers come from?
Visits from Google search, how often you showed up and your average spot come straight from Google Search Console, synced each week. Scott adds the rest when he writes the check-in.
What does "Average spot" mean?
Where your site lands in Google results on average across the searches you showed up for. Lower is better, so a 4 beats a 9.
What can I do to show up higher for "hardware store near me"?
Ask happy customers for Google reviews, send new photos of the store and the shop, and keep your hours and services current. The check-in's plan lists the steps that matter most for you right now.
Why does Google Business Profile have an X next to it?
You don't have a profile linked yet. It's what shows on Google Maps, and it's the biggest local boost there is. Setup is a one-time $250, never part of a monthly plan. Tap Fix it to add it.
Can I get a page for small engine repair or for a nearby town?
Yes. An extra page is $400, written and built to match your site. On Pro, one new town or service page a quarter is included. Send a request to get it started.
Do I need to do anything to get a check-in?
No. Scott writes it and it shows up here. The page says about when the next one lands.
What's "Searches that moved"?
It compares the searches people used to find you this month with last month, so you can see which ones are growing.
Is this the same as Website traffic?
No. Website traffic shows every visit to your site and where it came from. SEO check-ins is about Google search and your plan to move up.
Can I talk this through with someone?
On Pro you get a 15-minute SEO call every quarter. On any plan, text Scott with questions about your check-in.
