Write posts for your blog

Your site has a blog at /blog, and you write it from your dashboard. Every plan includes it. A checklist next to each post makes sure it follows Google's rules before it goes live.

Write a post

1. Open Marketing, then Blog, and tap New post.
2. Fill in the Title, the Summary and the Author.
3. Add a Cover photo and Describe the photo. Tick This is my own photo if you took it.
4. Write the post. How to format shows how to add headings, lists and links.

The checklist

1. Before you publish lists every check, like the title length, the summary, the cover photo and links to other pages on your site.
2. Anything with an x needs a fix, and it says what to change.
3. Publish turns on once every check passes.

Publish or take it down

1. Tap Publish. It shows on your blog within a few minutes.
2. To change a live post, edit it and tap Update post.
3. Tap Unpublish to move it back to drafts and off your site.
