Product reviews

How your store asks every shipped customer for a review, how you publish them, reply to them and bring in old ones, and why a rating is never a reason to hide one.

Questions

Can I hide a bad review?

No. A rating is never the reason a review stays hidden. Hide is only for spam or an ad, profanity or abuse, personal info like a phone number, a review that isn't about the product, or a duplicate.

What's the Verified buyer badge?

It shows on reviews from customers who bought the product through your store.

Does every customer get asked, or only happy ones?

Every customer who had an order shipped gets the same email, 7 days after it ships. Nobody is picked or skipped.

Do reviews help on Google?

Published reviews add star ratings to the product page's search details, so Google can show them.
